BECAUSE YOU NEED A LIL REALITY IN YO LIFE!

Hey yo what's really good? I was on the radio last night. Since I packed up my camera for bringing home over the week-long break ahead, I didn't take any pictures this week. BUMMER ! What's more, since we have this week off I will not be on next Friday. EXTRA BUMMER !

But I was on for four hours tonight (6-10p) instead of my regular slot, so that should counteract at least one of the aforementioned bummers.

MP3 of the week:

Well I ran into someone I hadn't seen for a long time after the show. We talked for hours, and I realized even though things are over and done with, sometimes it's just really hard to totally move on. We've been bouncing around about how over it really is, but what we both need to realize is that love doesn't quite live and die, rather that it changes, like toys left out in the sun. Things could never work out between us, but sometimes it's too easy to feel like it could.

As her car went through the green light at the intersection and I raced to pass through it to drive beside her for a mile or so, the light changed back to red and I got stuck behind. Left all by myself at 2a with all these lanes around me, and no cars in any of them except mine, this song came on and it definitely hit me hard. If you're out there somewhere, check this out girl. See me on the streets playa, I ain't new

Crazy Crazy Crazy... Apparently I'm the man of the hour over at http://www.albany.edu. The Albany website crew came through the station about a month ago scopin' out CDBs new board and related ish, they snapped some photos of me with my good friend Joe Strummer and I guess that's that. Too bad I didn't get a shout out of a link back to this page... I wonder how much traffic that would have drummed up?

In other WCDB news, esteemed Urban DJ Wits sadly perished last weekend at the age of 25. Dude just got his diploma from Union and was definitely making moves. The WCDB community is very grieved by this loss. Family/friends of Wits thank you for your support through this trying time.

Hey Hey My My Yo Yo

HELLO ALBANY

HELLO

I joined the University Photo Service here at SUNYA last week, and I've been really getting into it. I broke out my old camera I haven't touched since High School and took some serious pictures. I love this club. Developing film is a real bitch, though!

The usual 6-8 DJ, Ryan, wasn't local this Friday so I stepped in to cover. I wasn't so sure about four hours of 80s though, so I considered something a little different.... Namely, 90s! We jammed out some serious 10-15 year old music and just had a grand old time in general at the station. I took maaaaad pictures but none of them were digital. After I develop them, if any are like "Awesome" I might scan 'em in.

Update: Patrick made me an animated GIF of hilarious, ridiculous, ridiculous, all of the above propensity: (From the 90s half of the program)

Kegs/Eggs was afterward, but homie don't play that much at all in general.
