An Eighties Christmas

Hey hey hey and ho ho ho,
Last night's show went great ! Thanks to all who tuned in and called. I don't mean to be a jerk to my listeners when they call up and request "Timbaland" but seriously, are you even listening to the show? When you call up a DJ, try to request a song within the genre. That is all.

I actually messed up a bit; don't know how I miscalculated but I ran out of music by about ten of ten. I winged it with R2D2 and C3PO singing some weird christmas song, Vandals' "I Want a Gun for Christmas", and some other stuff I just happened to find. Putting this together was super tough with Finals and other social happenings (GOG 202 on Monday then I'm done!); Next year I'm sure I'll have so much I won't even be able to get to it all.

This is indeed the last program of the semester :-( Thanks for a great Fall semester on the radio! If you want to tip me to a certain eighties artist you think I should know about feel free to leave a comment or E-mail me! Enjoy your holidays, and I will see you (well, talk to you) all on January 25, 8pm!

Good to see your post mentioning "Winter Wonderland" by Steve Goodman. He often doesn't get his due. You may want to know about my new 800-page biography, "Steve Goodman: Facing the Music." For more info, check my Internet site below. Just trying to spread word about the book. Feel free to do the same!

"Hey, Clay, dude, I just mailed you a letter and an E-mail, and then I called and left a message at your house after checking your website, so I thought I'd give your cell phone a try... I want to know more about the book."

Haha, for real though, good looks on writing that - Steve was certainly a cool character, heavily slept on musically, and a testament to the phrase "good guys die young." Hope your book does well and thanks for the comment.
