Hey hey hey and ho ho ho,
Last night's show went great ! Thanks to all who tuned in and called. I don't mean to be a jerk to my listeners when they call up and request "Timbaland" but seriously, are you even listening to the show? When you call up a DJ, try to request a song within the genre. That is all.

I actually messed up a bit; don't know how I miscalculated but I ran out of music by about ten of ten. I winged it with R2D2 and C3PO singing some weird christmas song, Vandals' "I Want a Gun for Christmas", and some other stuff I just happened to find. Putting this together was super tough with Finals and other social happenings (GOG 202 on Monday then I'm done!); Next year I'm sure I'll have so much I won't even be able to get to it all.
This is indeed the last program of the semester :-( Thanks for a great Fall semester on the radio! If you want to tip me to a certain eighties artist you think I should know about feel free to leave a comment or E-mail me! Enjoy your holidays, and I will see you (well, talk to you) all on January 25, 8pm!

First Post!
Hey listeners -
So I have finally decided to create a weblog for my show. We'll see where it goes. I created it so more people who were into the 80s and more students here at and around SUNY Albany could know what's going on around campus, namely in the way of the radio. Yesterday evening I actually decided on a whim to do a 70s punk rock program so the week before last's playlist will be my first. Here it is.

The show went really well in my opinion! WCDB was off the air from May-November, so it was actually only my second or third show of the semester. Lots of fun.
Highlights -
- Getting a request for "I Touch Myself" on Wednesday - While from 1992 I had to make an exception because come on, how awesome is that track ?
- The request for Peter Gabriel followed by another call saying "Fuck Gabriel, throw on some Phil Collins !" While bewildered I am still glad to hear such rivalries still go on between fans. Fellow dude Andrew chooses Gabriel, I say I'm 51-49 for Collins.
- Singin' along to Career Opportunities boisterously in the studio and in the same manner as the live version ("Do you wanna be, do you really wanna be a cop? NO FUCKIN' WAY!")
So I have some questions that can be answered at any time:
-Should I swear in a "blog post"
-Should I have any features apart from a playlist and commentary
-How do I get your friends to read and link to this
If you are the most timid, nieve person in the world, I'm sure you can at least answer my third question :-)
NEXT WEEK: a very eighties christmas. Leave a comment if there's something you want to hear!
"Friday night, I just got back
I had my eyes shut, I was dreamin' about the past!"
